We need more walkable, mixed-use datacenters. Like community gardens, people should be able to experience the joy and satisfaction of cultivating their own hardware. I tried out C# for a while after reading one of your blog posts, but it hasn’t really stuck for me largely because the editor support just is not up to snuff unless you use VS Code or Rider. :/ it seems like a rough spot to be stuck

white-throated sparrows have one of the best songs in North America, so it was an honor to shoot their album cover 🪶

a sparrow perches on a branch using only one leg (the other is tucked against its body). It has a gray chest and a bold pattern of black and white stripes on its head, with a yellow patch in front of its eye. Much of the background is bright pink, the result of Korean rhododendrons in bloom.
