I'm in a weird space where Im probably too online, but then I see people who are Waaay Too Online. It does make me feel better though

My main crew all have life stuff going on and my other attempts and making other people play with me keep petering out. If I get desperate, I'll consider paying for a professional online group, but I should keep trying for a a physical table, no?

I mostly noticed it in the last segment after the commercial break. If there were others I didn't notice them.

Hey, maybe you already corrected it, but there seems to be some editing issues in that latter half of the episode. It sounds like you took a couple takes but you left both in there. But otherwise, good episode!

Fortune's Weave is so funny. I started with Cai since he seems like a Claude analog. It's a bit of a slow start, but it's an fun, optimistic "kids against the world" story. I swap over to Leda and its immediately murder o'clock. Boy, this game is great.

Bought a ticket for Coyote vs. Acme tonight and I'm running on 4 hours of sleep. Perhaps not the wisest decision, but you gotta go to the movies, baybee!

On the other hand, I read much faster than regular audiobook narration, so I may need to make some tough choices soon.

I regularly speed up podcasts by 1.5x, but for some reason, I think doing the same thing to an audiobook would be abhorrent.

I'm at a medical conference, and I'm being subjected to an "AI in wound care" lecture and I'm losing my mind. The lecture itself isn't terrible, albeit it's not very convincing, but the presenter has AI art on every slide and it looks awful.

Just finished reading Piranesi from Suzanna Clarke. It's very good, and short enough to finish in a couple sessions. Then I found out it has an award winning audiobook read by Chiwetel Ejiofor and now I feel cheated.

Update: Turning off V-Sync completely solved the lag/stutter, but now I have tearing. It's playable, but boy, I sure hope there is a fix soon enough.

Fields of Mistria, I'm ready to devote 100+ hours to you, I just need you to fix this performance problem! It hurts to see my poor farmer stutter across the open areas until the game catches up and its back to normal.

Be ambivalent to me, I failed at donating blood today. (They said I wasn't hydrated enough and the flow was too slow) The worst part is I have to still wait 8 weeks until I can try again. Go donate blood in my stead!

The Red Cross is apparently critically low on blood, and I'd like to donate, but the available times and locations all suck. You would think it would be easier to give your blood away...

I suppose I'm sub-tweeting Dishonored 2. It's very cool and the systems on systems is a lot of fun. But if I really loved it, I probably would be playing it late into the night.

I hate when I'm playing a video game that I know is good, but I just don't get "the itch" for it. Nothing against them personally, it just didn't hit that addictive center of my brain. Some games, it becomes all I want to do until I'm finished, and others, I'm much more normal about.

Celeste is a great game, but boy do I suck at it. Rolled credits last night with well over 2000 deaths. Pretty satisfying to reach the summit though.

This is the most annoying phase of the weight loss journey. I've lost so much weight all my current clothes are so baggy and loose, but all the pre-weight gain clothes are still way too tight. Do I dare buy clothes I know will only last a couple months, so just be the baggy clothing guy for a while?

My baby niece doesn't really like me all that much, but she clearly thinks I'm the weak link in the family. If she wants a snack or someone to turn on the TV after Mom said no, she suddenly gets all buddy-buddy with me, and darn it if it doesn't work

My mom is here visiting, and while I was at work, she decided to trim this rosebush I have, and long story short I didn't have a vase and she didn't want me to go buy one, so this was her solution. Yes, that is a shot glass, and no, I don't think I approve.

A bundle of pink-white roses in a shot glass.

I have endless patience explaining the rules of a TTRPG to my fellow players, but if I have to explain a board game more than twice while we are playing it together? Go straight to jail. This probably says something about me, but I'm not sure what.

At a free personal training consultation at the gym this morning and the trainer keeps telling me to keep my heart rate elevated. As a heavy guy, I wanted to say something like "my HR was in the fat burn zone just walking from the water fountain to here, I don't think you need to worry about that."
