I saw a video on tiktok that talked about people in mdzs fandom feeling pity for rich clan leaders who got sad endings, but not for other tragic characters, and some people in the comments were going ”Yeah I hate when people feel sympathy for Xue Yang” Like just no, that’s the wrong answer

I’m happy to finally show y’all this Songxue piece commissioned by the lovely @neapoulain.bsky.social to accompany her fanfic “Donde ni el pecado ni el perdón nos alcance” #Songxue #SongLan #XueYang #MoDaoZuShi #MDZS #YiCity #魔道祖师 #宋薛 #宋岚 #薛洋

A digital painting of Song Lan and Xue Yang from Mo Dao Zu Shi, in their donghua attires. Xue Yang is kneeling on the ground, clinging to Song Lan’s robes, holding them in his right fist as he stares at him with a face full of adoration. Song Lan, towering over him, is blushing and has a merciful look on his otherwise stoic face. They’re in a garden, surrounded by baby’s breath () and grasses. Behind them, one can see the building with a couple of columns that frame the scene, as well as the railing and the windows that make up most of the background.

Modern AU Xue Yang dancing with purple and green lights behind him.
He's wearing low waits black jeans with multiple belts and chains. He has a simple black leather jacket and a fishnet top without anything under it.
He has tilted his hips heavily to the right side. He has black fingerless gloves and he has raised his hands above his head. His head is tilted to the side and he's smiling with eyes closed.
He has piercings in his ear and lips, and few necklaces. There's a glowing light green heart next to him and the text "Happy bithday Xue Yanc <3". End of description.

A simple drawing of Xue Yang, A-Qing, Xiao Xingchen and Song Lan with their manhua designs. Xue Yang is standing proudly with his hands at his hips and his bare chest wrapped up. A-Qing, to his left, is holding a bowl and looking somewhat surprised. Xiao Xingchen, to his right, is clasping his hands together and smiling. Behind him, Song Lan in the distance looks perplexed. Above Xue Yang, text reads "Thank you for the top surgery!!"

A redraw of silkentine's breast reduction comic. Xue Yang is lying down in bed with two outlines of breasts showing through the blanket. Song Lan is standing beside him and saying "Good luck." Three hours later, as denoted by the text, Xiao Xingchen stands beside Xue Yang, whose breast outline has disappeared. He is wearing a surgical mask. He says "Your top surgery was a success!" In the third panel, as Xue Yang sits up, he asks "Where's Song Lan?" to which Xiao Xingchen, offscreen, replies "Who do you think took your boobs?" The final panel shows Song Lan asleep in his own bed with two noticeably larger breast outlines. Xue Yang above him is crying and raising his fist, screaming "NOOO!!"

Genshin arttt it’s been a while again, didn’t care much for Varka when he was released, but then Genshin added a crazy much younger boyfriend for him and like, alright I’m listening. I do think Lohen became my second favorite character—after Arlecchino of course. #varhen #lohen #varka

Varka holding Lohen over his left shoulder, with his hand keeping Lohen's legs in place, his right hand placed on his hip. Varka looks annoyed and amused at the same time, his eyes are closed. Lohen has turned around to look at Varka from where his held up, his left hand is leaning on Varkas shoulder and he's holding a dagger.
He's resting his face on his right hand and he looks exited but vengeful in a way. Next to him is his elemental skill meter with joy being at it maximum.

i want a scar that looks just like you • Songxuexiao • Rated E 👹 Xue Yang turns into a demon 👹 Xingchen thinks it's a curse 👹 it's not a curse 👹 it's just going to get worse 👹 Song Lan walks into a very different Yi City Art by @tuherrus.bsky.social. archiveofourown.org/works/86720281

Title: i want a scar that looks just like you
Author: iodhadh

Summary:

Xue Yang has been living peacefully (more or less) in the coffin house for two years when he wakes up one morning and discovers his body changing.

Demonic transformation is a bloody, brutal process. Xiao Xingchen believes at first that it's a curse, but that doesn't quite add up. The ramifications of Xue Yang's new form will reach far further than either of them can imagine—and the Yi City Song Lan arrives on, one year later, will be stranger, more seductive, and a wholly new kind of painful.

A digital illustration of Xue Yang, Xiao Xingchen, and Song Lan in the courtyard of the coffin house. Xue Yang and Xingchen both have monstrous features and demonic horns: Xue Yang modelled on a tiger and Xingchen on a red-crowned crane. Xingchen is standing between Xue Yang and Song Lan, who both have their swords out, catching Song Lan's sword on his hand to stop him from cutting Xue Yang. His palm is bleeding profusely. Song Lan looks distressed and shocked; Xue Yang is astonished; Xingchen is cold and unmoved.

Modern AU songxuexiao as women sitting on a bench. Xue Yang on the right is wearing a black jacket, with a dark crop top and black jeans, she's holding onto a strand of Xiao Xingchen's hair and is staring at her chest are. Xue Yang, Xiao Xingchen and Song Lan as cats. Xiao Xingchen is sitting on the right, he's a white cat with short fur, he's missing his eyes and smiling. His tail is wrapped around Song Lans who is sitting next to him. He's a grey cat with long fur, he has scratches around his eyes and is glaring at Xue Yang and trying to push his tail away with his paw. Xue Yang is laying on his back before them, he's a black cat with messy fur, he has scars and a torn ear, he looks playful, and is pawing at Xiao Xingchen's face and pushing his tail into Song Lan's face.

A quickly drawn meme of Xiao Xingchen, Song Lan and Xue Yang.
Xiao Xingchen is asking "I just never know if you two are gonna fuck or fight." Below are Song Lan and Xue Yang drawn over a photo of Greg Davies and Alex Horne, and they are responding with "And it's frequently both. Simultaneously."

Quickly drawn Xue Yang over a photo of Alex Horne in Taskmaster. He has a mushroom hat and is holding a long spoon in his right hand. He's looking down at a frying pan, he has an oven mitt in his left hand.

Day 1. @sxx-love-week.bsky.social Mythology I thought of a backstory for this while doing it, Xue Yang is a cannibalistic mermaid who used to eat humans until Xiao Xingchen found him. Xue Yang would like to eat Song Lan, but Xiao Xingchen won’t let him because he wants to keep Song Lan. 😌

Xue Yang and Xiao Xingchen as mermaids, and human Song Lan between them. They are all under water, and there are bubbles around them. Xue Yang on the left has wrapped his tail around Xiao Xingchens. Xue Yang has a deep blue tail with spiky fins on his back and sides. He has multiple scars along his tail and torso. His hair is open, he has fins around his ears and is grabbing onto Song Lans shoulders, grinning at him from behind. Xiao Xingchen has a white tail with translucent fins along his sides. His hair is open too and he has fins around his ears, his left hand is holding a strand of Song Lans hair and he's raising Song Lans chin up with his right index finger. Xiao Xingcgen is smiling at Song Lan. Song Lan is wearing a dark grey robe and is looking surprised but he's blushing. End of description

The blurred background depicts a bedroom with a large window, a bean bag, a few plants, a shelf, a wardrobe, and a computer on a desk with a chair. The computer is glowing blue. The color palette is predominantly pink.

this scene in the stage play was absolutely terrifying. at the same time, i was surprised by how physical everything was; every other adaptation was very quick, very cut and dry, and on stage we see the buildup, the pointless struggle... #songlan #xueyang #宋岚 #薛洋

A page of sketches of modern Song Lan and Xue Yang, at the center Song Lan is taking Xue Yang's hand into his and kissing it, his other hand is behind his back. Xue Yang is blushing and looks angrily to the side. There's texts in the middle of them that say "I'm in my car just thinking." "About?" "You."
"Awww." "Nothing good tho." At the bottom of the page there's a realistic drawing of both of their eyes and their shoes, where Xue Yang is standing on top of Song Lan's shoes and has risen on his toes. End of description.

A half-body drawing of Song Lan (as a fierce corpse) and Xue Yang. Song Lan has his arms around Xue Yang, and is guiding him into stabbing himself with his sword, Fuxue. The blade is concealed by their billowing sleeves, but slight flecks of blood denote that there has been contact. In their position, the sword would run them both through. Both their hair is down. Song Lan's expression is neutral, but Xue Yang is smiling with his eyes closed, although his brow is furrowed.
