Summary

“Shidi, do you… like this?” Zhongli Quan was asking the obvious, but what he really meant was why? “Doesn’t it remind you of…” His throat was dry, and the words came out sounding like he was the one who had been choked.

“That’s when I realized I liked it.” Lü Dongbin’s words were blunt as usual, but his face was turned to the side, bangs covering the blush on his cheeks but failing to hide its twin on the tips of his ears. “I’d been choked before and felt the normal way about it. But when shixiong did it to me, I liked being so deeply under his control.”

“I could have killed you,” Zhongli Quan burst out. He tore his hand away and fisted it in his sleeve. I almost did, he didn’t say.

Lü Dongbin looked up at him with those huge dark eyes. “I would have let you. If it was what you needed.”

“You’d have thrown away your life like that?! For what, so that I’d feel a little better, having vented my anger on the one who made my life like this? Is your own life worth so little to you?”

“I didn’t know then,” Lü Dongbin said softly. “That you loved me.”

my final offering for this #songxiaoseptember2026 is something i was gonna make for week 1, beginning/canon divergence AU... but i left it for last! have some good vibes to welcome in the new month #songxiao

A lineless drawn scene depicting Xiao Xingchen, Song Lan and A-Qing picking apples on a bright sunny day. A-Qing is scaling a tree and holding an apple out to Xiao Xingchen. Her outfit is green, as well as the tips of her hair. Xiao Xingchen is in his usual white, gray and black attire, though the tips of his hair are orange. He happily accepts the apple from A-Qing while holding an empty basket under one arm. Song Lan is crouching down and collecting a full basket of red apples. He is in his usual black and light blue attire and his hair is tinted blue, as well. In the back, with his hands tied and sitting on a rock, Xue Yang is staring wistfully. His hair is tipped red, and his outfit is gray and black.

against my better judgment, here's a little guy for day 1 of mxtxtober: flower

a simple digital doodle of fox hong-er holding a white flower in his mouth while staring at you with the biggest wettest eye in the three realms. his head and right eye is bandaged but he looks surprisingly well taken care of otherwise, his fur thick and fluffy, if a bit unruly. that is because 1) its easier to draw and 2) he deserves dianxia giving him nice baths with all the fox shampoo and conditioniner okay.

Drawing of Shen Qingqiu from The Scum Villain’s Self-Saving System. He’s drawn in a chibi style and is smiling sort of smugly, giving the middle finger with his other arm behind his back. The screen tone is in green, but there are red accents on his clothes.
