As if it was needed, another example of why banning large donations only from citizens abroad is the wrong approach. People would try to work around it with UK proxies. Ban large donations from all eligible donors, no matter if they live in the UK or abroad.

Overseas membership organisations of both Conservatives and Labour agreed with us when we gave evidence in parliament: voting from abroad is broken and needs urgent improvements. At the last general election only half of postal votes from abroad got back in time. We need your help.

One voter in France received their postal vote the day AFTER the election. Only 48% of overseas postal ballots were returned in time at the last General Election. Half our postal votes in the bin. The Government's response? Start distributing ballots 3 days earlier. That's no fix. That's a shrug.

GB News has turned into the Reform channel. After a New World investigation found hundreds of breaches of the rules on accuracy and impartiality, Ofcom has failed to do its job and act. We've seen what Fox News has done to politics in the US. We can't let it happen here.

Given Trump's illegal war that is devastating the Middle East and pushing up energy bills, Keir Starmer should advise the King to call off April’s state visit to the US. A state visit should not be given to someone who repeatedly insults and damages our country.
