I taught a trans health primer to my residents for the first time since the 2024 election, and I was not prepared for how anxious I felt. It's not a reason to stop. If anything, it's a reason to continue. But man, I had no idea the public assault on queer identity had gotten to me like that.

Hospitals and units around the country keep closing, and the news seems to be slow to keep up with all of it. 2027 is looking dark for healthcare. Oregon lost one of its three geriatric psychiatry units in the state this month (Hillsboro MC), and journalists are nowhere to be found. @oregonian.com
