I don't understand why Congress does not act on AI artistic identity and content theft. It seems straightforward: AI cannot hold copyright, so it should not be allowed to publish. And if it does, the owners of the AI engine used should be liable for damages.

During the 1920s, economic indicators appeared abundantly healthy but didn't show the foundational rot of top-heavy and white-centric wealth distribution. Stock speculation on margin was rampant. The Smoot-Hawley tariffs spread int'l economic insecurity. Today, we're doubling down on all that.

There will very likely be a Supreme Court case regarding who can vote in an election. A US judge has ruled that a federal law barring non-citizens from voting is unconstitutional because Congress can only control the date, manner, and time of fed elections. States decide voter requirements.

I get that the GOP is outspending the Democrats in my district. But continuously asking for more money is being deaf to reality. The reason why the GOP is able to pour on the cash is because their donors are stealing that cash from people like me. That gross inequity needs a fix.
