Sort of distinct issue, but whatever response you get is not necessarily an LLM, there's plausibly a bunch of dispatching happening at the backend to do custom code for some queries. (A lot of "omg AI will change everything" is just something you could automate with normal code pre-AI freakout...)

And yeah construction next door sucks. Neighboring building is up for sale, advertised for ability to build 6 story building. Right now half is a giant empty parking lot, complete waste of space. Will I enjoy construction? No. Will I try to stop housing from being built? Also no.

Is it enough? No. Do we need protection for renters? Yes, but that's the state legislature. But at least we're trying to make displacement result in _replacement units_ and _affordable units_, instead of just displacement, like happened in the Baldwin neighborhood for decades.

With MFH, 9 Wyman Road turns one $2+ million single family home into 50 units, of which 10 are subsidized affordable. A huge improvement! Or it turns 3 units into 10, as is happening around the corner. No affordable units, but adding 7 new units to my neighborhood hasn't happened in _decades_.

Without building any new buildings, you still get: 1. New landlord buys a building, new mortgage is much higher, so they raise rent. 19 Forest St complex had that happen. 2. Condo conversions. Renters get kicked out. Happened in place I lived in for a summer in 2005, with no MFH ordinance.

Also worth noting that per election polls his party is gonna get 4-8 seats in the Knesset (out of 120) in the upcoming election. And 50 seats (at least!) going to parties happy to join him in a coalition. And a bunch more who are fine with ethnic cleansing but won't say as explicitly as Ben Gvir.

Let me repeat: this is a whole subculture. It's not "here's a random person who _really_ enjoys hurting people", it's people who were deliberately raised to think that e.g. Baruch Goldstein was a hero. This is a sociological and political phenomena, not an individual psychological one.

Nope, probably a completely normal human being. I grew up with people like this (literally, I share a first name with him because that was very popular boys name in our age group in Israel) and they tended to be perfectly nice people so long as you agreed with their politics.

This was the case for me! So I got a booster. And then years later forgot about the above, got the test again, and hey my immunity is now much higher. It works! (If you're young you had multiple vax rounds and it's less likely, but I was vaccinated in 1980s and also moved countries as a child.)
