The hardest part was getting the atmosphere right. I also feel like I’m missing something but at this point, if I don’t stop now I never will lol #illustration #art #oc #originalcharacter #drawing #digitaldrawing

A digital painting done in clip studio paint of two original characters. The woman sits on the arm of a couch next to a man sitting on the couch with his arm draped across the back of it. Behind them there’s a window through which we can see fireworks illuminating the scene.

I'm going to be vending at my first in person event soon at Ravenswood Art Walk. If you were looking to grab a copy of Empyrean or Full Moon Lodge in person, I will be set up at Bad Coffee Sept 13-14. This isn't everything I have, either - I've been cooking up tons of new stuff to sell :D

An overhead shot of a table with an orange gingham tablecloth. On the tablecloth, there are comics, zines, stickers, and prints of my artwork.

i know to many it's a job, but comics demand a nuclear amount of energy, usually provided by one person working alone, that is so misunderstood and unmatched lol

Indie comics ain't easy. Working very hard to make something as well as you possibly can that you know only a few people outside of yourself care about can be quite lonely, and often feels almost like a folly. Please let indie creators know you enjoy their work, it really helps.

the bug collector🪲🪿🦋🐚 #illustration #bugs #edwardian

An illustration of an edwardian-era woman sits in a chair in warm afternoon sunlight in an office covered floor-to-ceiling in natural curios. Shells, tree matter, feathers, bones, frames full of bugs, and plants litter the room. The woman sits in a moment of pause, holding a pen, her other hand leafing through a notebook filled with scrawlings. The woman has brown skin that glows in the warm light, glasses, and textured hair pulled into a Gibson-girl-era sweeping updo. She wears a white blouse with billowing mutton sleeves that extend just beyond her elbows, and a deep green skirt lined with black ribbons.

A little doodle of Nancy I digitized because I liked it so much. She’s so much fun to draw, but only appears in my story in flashbacks 😭

My OC Nancy, standing against an orange background. She is looking to her left, a drink in her left hand. She’s got brown, curly hair with streaks of grey and her hair is shaved at her temples. She wears large, square glasses. She is wearing a baggy t-shirt with papaya tucked into red and cream checked pants and black boots

artists support each other when systems will not. there's little safety net. it is resilience. artists are not your competitors. artists are your peers, mentors, and the ones who will defend the ability to create sustainably. to those who struggle to continue drawing, you are an artist.

Walk Into The Sun is ?? vaguely a cosmic horror about a Black lesbian and her intertwined fate with the Sun, i made a very short demo for it for #NaNoRenO2025, go look at it celestaerium.itch.io/wits-demo #NaNoRenO #VisualNovel

Digital illustration of space. In large, blocky, orange letters are the words, "Walk Into The Sun."

Screenshot from Walk Into The Sun. Three Black women stand in a bedroom with confused looks on their faces. From left to right, the characters are:
- Bree (the main character), she wears a long bonnet with a camisole and pajama shorts, all in shades of pink and red.
- Kam (Bree's girlfriend), she has short, dark brown curly hair and wears a slightly baggy band tee with sweatpants, all in shades of purple and blue.
- Aaliyah (Bree's best friend), she has long, blonde hair split into 2 cornrows that end in a star-shaped puff, she wears a cropped hoodie with a sports bra and running shorts, all in shades of purple and tan.
