An old perfected recipe. Kids loved it today. They even took the leftover home made whipped cream and mixed in fresh strawberries. The fruit on the waffle was old frozen leftover fruit that I made into a compote.

As a head and neck cancer survivor, losing Bald Bryan Bishop hits real close to home. He was a podcast producing legend and pretty much beloved by his coworkers and family. He endured 17 years of treatment. I will mourn this loss extra hard.

I really miss my last foster dog, Gus Gus. He was officially adopted a couple weeks ago and I really miss my shadow. Bitter sweet. So happy he has his forever home. Sad he’s not in mine. But my two dogs totaling 157 lbs are happy to remind me of their presence.

I am a man. A man with needs! Those needs? I’d like to have teeth. I lost another tooth today thanks to an unwelcome combination of cancer-radiation side effects and diabetes. I’m down to 10.5 teeth and my dentures no longer work because I lost the teeth they were braced against. That’s the tooth.

I went to the butcher today and asked for a 2” ribeye. I showed him where on the roast I wanted it cut. It was HUGE. I GROSSLY overpaid for it, but I got an ideal cut and it melted in my mouth. Perfect 135°.
