@charlieangus104.bsky.social I'm concerned about your petition to remove Musk's citizenship. I assumed the citizenship was honorary and the removal, er, dishonorary. Why on earth would you want to create a precedent to remove the regular citizenship of political opponents? I want to remove my name.

Actually Leftist Thriller. Distracting. Exciting. WEIRD, and weirdly hopeful. 1.99 e-book. 17.99 paperback. Paperbacks can be got in order from your local and bookshop, also the dread site for those with no other options.

Anyone watching #LoveisblindGermany? I enjoy the small window onto different cultures. THEY DO NOT FALL IN LOVE EASILY. Not one of them has used the word "love" yet and the weddings are coming, whereas Americans are all in on day one. More breakups than any other show and Pascal is the archetype.

Everyone loves it who reads it except for that one right-wing weirdo, so that's okay. I'm dour, but the book is vibrantly hopeful despite being Baby Reindeer weird.

DISGRACED: A TORONTO THRILLER IS STILL FREE UNTIL TOMORROW. I got a review that made me think the guy was high. I tried to write a trashy leftist novel and did not make it. Maybe this year is about believing in myself as a writer?

The novel reminded me of Michael Ondaatje In the Skin of A Lion (1987) that revolves around the fictionalized lives of the immigrants in Toronto of 1930’s. Disgraced shares the location and concern with lives of ordinary men and women who make this city work. Plot line moves fast, like the city itself, which seems to be always in a rush. What makes the Disgrace unique is the question it poses: What would happen when the lives of powerless ordinary people are left to the mercy of corporations that are only concerned with their bottom line at any cost? There was a time when you could read about the murder of labour union organizers (a true story) in Ondaatje’s novel In the Skin of A Lion, and shake your head at the grim reality of the Great Depression era brought about by an inhumane market economy. Now reading the Disgrace, both landscape and plotline looks so frighteningly familiar that it did not hit me as a thriller, though there is much complexity, adventure, intrigue, and mystery in the story to satisfy the fans of the genre. The Disgrace spoke to me as a prophetic visionary novel, a warning against unbridled predatory greed that spawn disruptive acts of desperate vengeance. But the novel is not all doom and gloom. It shows much hope in embracing a comprehensive practice of justice tempered by compassion and love.”

A simple Art Comm sheet depicting three characters with attached prices.
Top-Left: Line-art of a Lady Pirate Captain for $15.
Bottom-Left: Full colour bust of a girl with dark hair ending in purple tips, with green eyes in a simple shirt for $25.
Bottom-Center: Full colour 3/4 Body of a Witch weaving purple magics. She has red hair and is wearing a witch hat, a purple corset over a purple top and dark pants. Price is $35.
Right: Full colour art of a blue scaled naga girl with orange hair and yellow pads along the sides of her body and underside of her tail. Price is $45.

*Trixie Revel, character belongs to @katie-kat-yo.bsky.social, art by me*
A very cute satyr girl dances to some music, her face lit up with confidence and joy. Her lower body is covered in brown fur, and she has a goat tail and legs which end in hooves. Her ears are also goat-like and have a round earring in each end. She's dressed in a pink bikini top with a skirt tied around her waist that swishes while she dances. White stripes and tiny dots line the fabric. She's got freckles on her face, chest, and shoulders. Her hair is white with light waves of pink. A crown of flowers sits upon her head. Her green eyes sparkle as she dances.

*Sinfonia & Sielu belong to @kiraelric.bsky.social, art by me*
Sinfonia has orange hair with four ruby horns poking out like a crown. He’s a tall slender human-looking man with cat-like pupils, dressed in a fine suit with the arms of shirt rolled up. He wears black wristbands on both arms and has a long decorated coat with a single tail.
Sielu is like Sinfonia, except that he is slightly shorter and more stocky and built. His hair is a light blue and his crystals are green, with three larger spikes. His hair is in a messy ponytail. He too is in similar clothing with different colours. His sleeves are down and his coat-tail is split in two.
The two lovers are floating in the air, Sielu clasped Sinfonia’s hand in his and is caressing his neck, making the man blush. Sinfonia is delicately reaching out to his husband’s face with his free hand. His heavy breath a visible orange mist. The two are clearly, deeply devoted to one another.

*This OC belongs to @snowjackalope, the art is by me*
Zoey is a redhead character wearing an open blue jacket with the sleeves rolled up, a teal tube top, and dark jeans. She's holding a mug of beer and her face is flushed, likely from having a few drinks before this one. She's smiling brightly.
