The two Canadian ones are filmed back to back with the same host.

@charlieangus104.bsky.social I'm concerned about your petition to remove Musk's citizenship. I assumed the citizenship was honorary and the removal, er, dishonorary. Why on earth would you want to create a precedent to remove the regular citizenship of political opponents? I want to remove my name.

Actually Leftist Thriller. Distracting. Exciting. WEIRD, and weirdly hopeful. 1.99 e-book. 17.99 paperback. Paperbacks can be got in order from your local and bookshop, also the dread site for those with no other options.

Anyone on here a #traitors superfan and know a lot about the NZ and Australian shows? I have a very specific question.

Palestinian children celebrate the announcement of a ceasefire deal. (The IRC reports that around 20,000 children have been orphaned or separated from their parents since the start of the genocide, but IRC warned the actual number in conflicts can be three times as high.)

The show requires recklessness! 😂 But I thought on the Japanese one people were slow and thoughtful, but open to love.

Maybe only Tolga and Hannah? But the rest. So weird.

Anyone watching #LoveisblindGermany? I enjoy the small window onto different cultures. THEY DO NOT FALL IN LOVE EASILY. Not one of them has used the word "love" yet and the weddings are coming, whereas Americans are all in on day one. More breakups than any other show and Pascal is the archetype.

Finally seeing #Traitors. Ep. 1. 1. DELICIOUS. 2. CAROLINE YES. 3. TOM IS THE BEST DUMB. 4. BOB YES. 5. So great to see Jeremy having fun. 6. By men I mean Tony 😂. 7. B. Rob can’t act. 😂. I feel so bad they have to deal with him in the turret. Great drama.

It’s wild to watch people play who don’t know how. I’m so used to seasoned players on Survivor. But hopefully it’s like the first seasons of international Traitors where their ignorance was interesting and watching them figure it out was great fun.

The new Lion King is wonderful. I can't believe the CGI. But I love the simplicity of it. I'm not a fan of musicals, so this toned down version really works for me.

Utterly. Things I never wanted to know about how it works and goes wrong is a lot. A writer I know got an infection on a valve in his heart. He had a light fever all week, then went direct to multiple strokes and septic shock. Bits of bacteria and dead tissue went into his brain! He's recovering.

It might be water weight, among other things. The injuries to the muscles so they repair-grow require all sorts of bodily actions to repair and retaining water is one of them. Or you may be making lean, long muscle so you do not see it as bulk.

I think our genius as academics is mental agility. We’re jugglers of complex thoughts, patterns, and ideas that makes us very smart in a particular kind of way, but I know, for me, I’m dumb as a board in so many other ways.

There was a lengthy discussion on Twitter about a similar situation: people of colour do not appreciate being asked to do tasks by white people. What seem like meaningless, social niceties to us are laden with a lot of social history for them. That’s why she says this isn’t the first time.

Body language is bad at determining lies. Over-talking, like what Tiffany did and what a few others caught is proven to indicate guilt. Reliable interrogation techniques (not ones that work on intimidation) rely on letting the person talk themselves into a confession by finding the slip ups.

This means that gaming teaches critical thinking skills comprehensively. They develop analytical, but also emotional and embodied intelligence, including a solid grasp of narrative. Gamers easily picked up (and were able to run with) the principles I was teaching.
