EU friends: pls be aware that you cannot share certain types of data on Zenodo because Zenodo does actually not comply with GDPR. @lakens.bsky.social 's blog has a great summary. It's a pretty serious reason to avoid Zenodo for researchers who work with data, if I understand the issue correctly.

Had the privilege to give a #SAA2026 keynote today. Showed early results from WARN-D ML competition, & EMA'd the audience on how different parts of the data—Baseline, EMA, Wearables, & Followup—contributed to predicting depression onset, with live leaderboard & two prizes. Got 220 live responses:

Am Samstag halte ich an der TU Berlin einen Vortrag zum Faschismus von Björn Höcke. Oder auch nicht. Ein Anwalt hat der TU gedroht. Diese überlegt, während des SDS Kongresses einige Vorträge so nicht zuzulassen. Vor allem die nicht, die sich mit Faschismus befassen, unter anderem auch meinen Vortrag

Faschisten müssen als Faschisten benannt werden

Hochschulen haben den Auftrag, wissenschaftliche Forschung zu betreiben und zu ermöglichen.
Auch dann, wenn dies wissenschaftsfeindlichen Parteien und ihren Anwälten nicht passt.

Zur wissenschaftlichen Forschung zählt die Soziologie und eben auch verschiedenen Ansätze der Faschismusforschung.

Es liegt im ureigensten Interesse der Wissenschaftsfreiheit der Hochschulen, Faschismusforschung nicht zu beschneiden, denn diese Wissenschaftsfeiheit wäre eines der ersten Opfer von Faschisierungsprozessen.

Es kann nicht sein, dass die TU Berlin Vorträge zur faschistischen Gefahr und unter anderem auch einen Vortrag von mir zum Faschismus von Björn Höcke unterbindet, weil ein Anwalt Druck gemacht hat.
