The cage itself is placed on a tiny spot of fake turf, and then surrounded by another chainlink fence with razor wire on top. The cage is covered by a roof, but it's entirely exposed to the outside otherwise, meaning mosquitos and no air conditioning.

I'm American. Of course Carney's pushback was absolutely necessary. Trump is a monster. It's been a waking nightmare for a decade for sane Americans. Worse for many outside of the US, particularly in places where USAID has been cut off or direct military action has killed (murdered) civilians.
