Reading through responses to @bikeottawa.bsky.social's questionnaire that was sent to all election candidates in Ottawa. I know for certain who I'm NOT voting for. Mark Sutcliffe and Alex Lawson both have not participated (shocked). I dunno who Peter Westaway is, but he sounds like a dumbass.

Me and my friends were all 5'2" to 5'6", so of course everyone over 6' and no spatial awareness stood in front of us. I had to hold my empty beer can horizontal in front of me so one guy wouldn't back right into me.

History, the venue: -great sound -great bathrooms -great service at the bars -looks like really decent HVAC -very organized staff and security -balcony looked aces if you wanna shell out the dough -no slope to the floor so tall people ruined a lot of people's view of the stage

I enjoyed the show, but yeah, it would have been great to hear a few more big tunes, for my first Modest Mouse show. Like, not even Dashboard? C'mon. My feet are sore. Really liked the opener.

That's pretty much what they do now. My assumption is they mow because it's all perennial and that's just what you do with wild growth if it needs to be managed. If they didn't chop it all, it would be wild along the KZM! They just don't do it very gracefully. And it makes me sad when it happens.

If I drive into the city when I'm home visiting, I like to park on the far side of the Public Gardens, then I can walk thru the Gardens twice while I'm there. I laughed at the 2.50 pricing, considering how much people bitch and moan about the price of parking. It's so cheap!
