Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was murdered by ICE. His three sons called him “El mundo entero” — the whole world. They watched as their whole world died in a video posted on Facebook. Lorenzo was our neighbor and fellow Texan. He deserves justice.

All 10 shots were fired AFTER they removed the gun from Pretti’s waist. Every single shot was fired after he was disarmed.

On top of it being impossible to have a gun pointed at you if the subject isn’t in possession of his firearm, it’s also impossible to have a gun pointed at you if the subject is facing away from you. They shot him in the back, of the head. It’s 100% indefensible.

Not to distract from the deluge of horror (or maybe it is), but… we started watching #ThePitt and catching up. Wow. Sublime. I had an idea, but I had NO idea. We’re hooked.

There’s a whole lot of awful out there right now. But zeroing in on the smaller (and yet still significant) stuff, can we all agree that being on a crowded plane and just openly, cartoonishly, uncapped sneezing and coughing all over the rest of the passengers is TRASH behavior? *Especially* now?

So top Portland cops wrote & *testified* that fed agents have been "instigating and causing" conflict. They said agents were firing pepper balls unprovoked and "without any apparent warning" When a Portland chief called a federal agent w/ Qs, the agent hung up. www.oregonlive.com/crime/2025/0...

“It makes it extremely difficult for us to deal with, as the folks that are on the other side of this fence have been, night after night, actually instigating and causing some of the ruckus that’s occurring down there,” Dobson said.

“Okay. So it’s your testimony ICE is creating the problem?” Rask asked.

“I’m saying that they’re not following best practice,” Dobson replied.

Coalition of Dubbing Actors @codaunite.com · 30/08/2025

CODA believes the best way to improve the standing of voice actors in our industry is to push for positive change from within. These six voice actors are running for office in SAG-AFTRA and we encourage you to include them in your voting selections.

Marin M. Miller
#016 LA Local Board
#076 National Board
#125 Convention Delegate

"I have fought for better transparency and wages with the grassroots performers advocacy group I co-founded. Our efforts have resulted in the founding of the dubbing steering committee at SAG-AFTRA and thousands of Union jobs. Voice actors struggle to have their voices represented in SAG-AFTRA because we have no elected representatives.

Help us change that!"

SAG-AFTRA

Linsay Rousseau
#028 LA Local Board
#150 Convention Delegate

"I know firsthand that one size doesn't fit all. I've served on the interactive negotiating committee and LA Local Committees, always putting members first.

The video game negotiations proved what's possible when we stand strong together.

I don't represent one category-
I represent all of us. I'm running because OUR Union deserves leadership that listens, shows up, and never quits."

SAG-AFTRA

Scott Lambright
#008 LA Local Board
#107 Convention Delegate

"Listening to concerns from members helps shape my views. I've held the line through the recently settled IMA strike and the TV and Theatrical strike.

On the picket line, I learned so much from colleagues, friends, and supporters who I'm lucky to call allies in these trying times. I've served on an organizing committee and fought the good fight, so let me bring your voice to leadership!"

lot of negativity towards AI lately, but consider : are these tools ethical or environmentally sustainable? No. *but* do they enable great things that people want? Also no. *but* are they being made by well meaning people for good reasons? Once again, no. maybe you're not being negative *enough*

Using AI for creative endeavors is oxymoronic. And also actually moronic. It plagiarizes other people’s work, aggregates it and spits it out. Pale imitation at best, and downright theft at worst. Not to mention the massive environmental detriment. As a voice actor, writer, and artist… Hard pass.

We’ve bombed Iran. And dismantled our joint terrorism task force. And sent a third of the FBI to help ICE. And gutted the National Security Council. And a drunk guy is in charge at the pentagon. And our intelligence allies probably won’t share intel with us. Because people couldn’t vote for a woman.
