Reading to my kids is one of my greatest joys. This is so fucking bleak.

I thought homemade whipped cream was gross because growing up my mom wouldn’t sweeten it. It wasn’t until I was an adult that I learned you could just add maple syrup while whipping it and it’s the best thing in the world.

Definitely possible that’s a factor, but the touristy parts (S Maine) were already largely not voting Collins. I think it’s going to come down to the second district, and gas prices are absolutely hammering them right now.

I think this is basically right. I’ve done opinion surveys in the last few months, and when the question comes to “what is the biggest issue facing the country“ none of the options seem to be “our country appears to be led by absolute psychopaths with complete disregard for their fellow man.“
