Like, it was already a merger I was unhappy it happened to begin with, but when I read that some of the literal reasons it was put in motion were the likes of "we need more content for our upcoming services" and "Fox had never been bought out/merged like other studios" I was just baffled.

When I looked into the Disney/Fox buyout a while back and saw some of the reasonings given out for said buyout it's so obvious Disney would be the one to immediately come knocking if this goes down (especially cuz arguably said Fox buyout was kinda patient zero for these sorts of mergers)

Funnily the closest examples I can think of of that are certain Alien games, like the SNES Alien 3 game and Aliens Infestation on DS (aka the game with the goofy vocal ending theme), but that's about it.

What's interesting is that this seems to be an entirely original thing, from what I'm seeing; initially I assumed it was likely based on the SMS/GG ver of Dragon, which was a sidescroller, but this is totally different in terms of plot and levels, so this might be its own unique thing.

For those who aren't up to date on the 360 modding scene, this is a Big Deal. Believe it or not, until now, the 360 still never had a softmod and while some exploits in recent years had gotten most of the way, this is the real deal. You probably no longer need to solder your 360 to do Fun Stuff.

i think the funniest fighting game balance change ive ever seen is in the formerly-rare umk3 wavenet rather than removing the base umk3 infinites by nerfing chars, instead they kept them in but added a cap to total moves in a combo. if u try to infinite still, the game makes fun of you, LOOOL
