A form of toxic masculinity that often gets overlooked is men mocking women for taking COVID precautions, dismissing post-viral illness as psychosomatic or pressuring them to take off their masks. This is part of misogyny too.

Anecdotes do not evidence make. And not a single RCT has confirmed CBT efficacy in curing ME/CFS. Not one. CBT helps cope. It does not heal mitochondrial dysfunction any more than it'll heal cancer.
