there is no floor. Cougs hired a dud and don't have the money to do anything about it. Kirby Moore is absolutely in over his head. Caden Pinnick is the worst starting QB at WSU since the Wulff era. Cougs need a miracle to not finish 1-11. they're an FCS offense

Pinnick simply isn't an FBS QB. zero arm. zero awareness. holds the ball, misses wide open guys, no zip on even the short passes. if you're gonna go with a QB whose only real quality is his running ability, go with Dugger. he's faster & more decisive

oddly, this hasn't made me miss K9, it's made me miss Charbonnet. obviously Walker was great, but Charbs was always pushing the pile forward. Wilson hasn't really done that. Holani is basically JAG. Price looks good in spurts but can't seem to hold onto the ball. we really undervalued Charbs

one thing this game really cemented to me is that Trent Bray is a very good DC. he's probably a bad HC, but also was kinda put it a tough spot at Oregon St. some dudes have a ceiling that is just being a great coordinator, and that's ok. we're lucky to have him

Kirby might have to take over play calling duties. offense looks broken. RBs running straight into multiple defenders every time they get the ball. Pinnick can't figure out what to do after his first read isn't there. I don't care if you run the Wing T, you gotta put your QB in a better position

WSU brought back the entire OL. I know UW is good, but christ the OL looks bad. Pinnick looks like Zevi. Matt Miller is calling runs up the gut into unblocked LBs. anyway, we should be losing by 3 TDs but the DL is awesome & Jedd Fisch can't get out of his own way.
