Melanoma to rhabdomyosarcoma plasticity in the setting of immunotherapy
Knight et al. present the first molecularly validated case of metastatic melanoma that divergently evolved into rhabdomyosarcoma under treatment with immune checkpoint inhibitor. Longitudinal multiomic profiling revealed that this divergence was characterized by transcriptional changes rather than genetic mutations, providing insights into the mechanisms of lineage plasticity.
