We had an early morning flight so had to leave the airbnb by 5am. As we got in the Uber our kitty sitter sent a photo dump with a video of our boy Harvey purring and I am not ashamed to say I listened to it at least 3 times already. Bless her soul for making my morning better.

Y'all, this stuff is insane. The entire building is a work of art and our guide described all the details so well in a 15 min tour. I was tearing up it was so stunning.

The most opulent cathedral I have ever been in. St. John's Cathedral in Valletta is stunning! Every last detail from the marble mosaic (placard?) floor, gold leafed everything, Carrivagio fresco (not pictured)...and a little of my finger, whatever I was rushing and tearing up.

So annoyed with this "associate member" of the EU and how it's being rolled out. They treat it as a massive announcement like a concert tour, but it's a very important and nuanced political and international connection. Naming it "associate member" with no details invites speculation.

The Dem PACs really need to start targeting ads in specific regions. This is to appease farmers but I'm pretty sure Belarus can only produce about 7 million tons where as the US imports about 15 million tons. Plus when looking at the "savings" you need to look at shipping too. Sask is much closer.

Apertivo hour and dinner were really satisfying. I love a good day in the kitchen. Earlier today we had fried green tomatoes, then we had bruschetta with whipped feta and a teeny martini. Then we had crab stuffed salmon, beans, lemon fondant potatoes with a Beaujolais.
