Statistical Analysis:
For manuscripts that report statistics, the Editor requires that the authors provide evidence of statistical consultation (or at least expertise) by either the inclusion of a statistician/epidemiologist among the authors, or in the acknowledgements; a biostatistician may review such manuscripts during the review process.

Note: During the review process you may be asked to provide proof of statistical consultation.

Of the total, 10% have vanished completely, 18% are endangered (not yet preserved), 16% have been restored through the Wayback Machine, and 56% are preserved. I understand the publish-or-perish pressure. But the reputational costs of including a fake citation are just too high. Why use unreliable #GenAI to generate or format ref lists when there are good options out there for easily inserting citations and refs, like Zotero?
