mark my words: there will never be a major war where the winning side does not rely heavily on human infantry i do think you will see several future losers of major wars who disagree with this prediction

I don't think it's ever smart to say the loud part, especially now, but the quiet part would be (to me) .... I no longer think THIS type of protesting in general has a net positive benefit the way it may have 5-10yrs ago. I think we're too far past that. Idk not that it doesn't take balls which

I don't think ive posted here much about my dreams , I know I have on twitter but ... Without like giving a whole backstory no one cares about lol I had another last night. These dreams are hyper realistic and feel more like memories, I've had them my whole life sporadically. This is the first "new"

I've been screaming this for years.

"Listen, if a Bad President can come in and take away our rights and we're dependent on a Good President replacing them in four years to give us back our rights, then we do not have any rights.

"If politicians can take or distribute them, then they're not 'inalienable' and they're not 'rights.'

"We don't have inalienable rights we have conditional privileges, divvied out according to the whims of whoever currently holds the reins.

"And if we want to have actual rights, then we must build a system in which no one has the power to take them away to begin with."

Wild to me that the same Democrats that have been ambivalent to supportive of bans on wearing masks at protests, while simultaneously buying their police face recognition tech, while simultaneously creating federal grants for more police tech---now ask us where the protests are.

We really have to find a way to quickly, efficiently, get people through this shock. And it will be a shock to a depressingly large amount of people, like it or not. Many will, due to the shock , instead ignore and self-preserve. The proverbial "no masker/live in fear" of fascism. However the rest

"Do what you can, where you are, with what you have" grandmother reiterated this to me so many times it's not even funny, it went from being funny to not funny and back a few times over my life lol but she was wise, and grew up in a very different world- one we sadly may very well see again soon.

These smell so unbelievable in person , it's hard to even describe. Despite being far from their home, they're often sold in 'spring bulb's collections. They don't overwinter well above like zone 7- but they bloom with other daffodils...and their smell is downright heavenly

Just dropping in to share some Fun Plant Facts™️ with ya'll in light of our new political reality

An illustration of a nettle plant with the words "stinging Nettle can cause uterine contractions, potentially leading to a miscarriage if consumed in large enough doses while pregnant. Humans with uteruses should *avoid* drinking large quantities of Nettle Tea if they happen to discover that they are pregnant. Stinging Nettle can be found growing wild across a majority of North America."

It's been a while... It's odd, it's been much harder to make this app a "habit" than it ever was for any other... And I wonder if it has anything to do with a lack of a targeted "algorithm" , that makes the others so 'addictive'🤔 Anyway- last I checked I had like 100 followers - now have over 300!?

Let’s say there are 10 people who are all from the same demographic, and 6 of those people vote for something harmful to the other 4 people, the 4 people don’t “deserve it because that’s what <insert demographic>” voted for. If we keep going down this path we will destroy each other.

Vaccines work. The HPV vaccine has produced an astounding 62% drop in cervical cancer rates in young women. Young men should also get the vaccine, both to protect women & to protect men who have sex with men. The same virus is responsible for oral, throat, & anal cancers in men.
