I spent 30 minutes with the synths. I think I'm starting to realize I'll never be remotely good at this. Not until I successfully sacrifice all my free time to INTENTIONALLY learning the missing pieces. Just playing the keys doesn't count (and it gets old real quick)... #jkmakesnomusic

The #jkmakesmusic project has been on hold for about 2 weeks now (as I'm sure all of you noticed). I just set up my synths to just play something for a change, and it turns out all of my "creative ideas" still evaporate the moment I think of pressing a key 😞 it's making me sad, so I'm going to […]

RE: swecyb.com/@anderseknert/1160569502… No single post in this thread will prepare you for the next post in this thread. I'm beginning to think that tools like OpenClaw are professional malpractice and should be outright banned from civil society.

one thing that i really dislike about Unix is the zealous adherence to semi-accidental design elements that ends up interfering with the utility of the underlying useful principle for example: * early Unix could not run too complex a program due to hardware restrictions, so programs were […]

I should probably move these synth threads to a more blog-ish medium... feels a bit spammy at the moment, and my Mastodon client doesn't auto-scroll-to-post, so I always end up on top of the thread, which is now very long.

This is definitely one of my favourite Carpenter Brut songs, especially the part starting at 4:16. Blew me out of my boots when I first heard it, and continues to do so to this day open.spotify.com/track/73HHVjU5JcU2…
