Though MOCKINGBIRD by Kathryn Erskine was published in 2010, unfortunately, many of the same issues are still being dealt with today. This is a two tissue box #book. You will fall in love with Caitlin, a.k.a. Scout. Definitely an upper #middlegrade #book as the issues are tough ones.
