Discovering your art in a physical store on a book cover or similar item that you created it for, is such a cool and surreal experience like "whoa the art that me, a perpetually drawing hermit goblin, created in my little goblin cave, somehow escaped containment and became part of the real world" 😂

Yes! I beg you, web devs. Give us more grays and sepias. I find Discord's dark gray bg quite comfortable, but most other dark modes are too white text on too dark a bg. That's uncomfy for me too T_T

I'm sorry to hear it! And I fully understand artists staying on Twitter - if it works, it works. Do/did more of your audience find you there? I actually still have more followers on Twitter, but in my case the number doesn't seem very meaningful.

Any opinions on Coloso art courses? I see a lot of skilled artists offering them but I'm a little wary bc "good artist" does not automatically equal "good teacher". And there are not many reviews of individual Coloso classes.

I see AI being pushed so hard everywhere, likely paid for by the industry, and it reeks of desperation. If AI was truly as useful as they claim, all this furious shilling would not be necessary. Genuinely good tech/tools always found wide adaptation quickly.

This is why I've always disagreed with the idea that "art" is purely subjectively defined. Art is a communication. The listener/viewer completes that communication in recieving it, but it is the intentionality of the creator that makes it art. "AI music" is no more music than traffic noise is.

Yep, this 100%. I didn't check with any artists either when I printed out my favorite artworks to tape them to the walls of my room and my school binder as a teen. And who knows who's doing it with my work now. This is 100% private use, not publication, how would anyone ever know or care?
