Sometimes it's romantasy, sometimes its a small child summoning a dark army of fiends. Thank you Darrington Press for giving some insane art briefs Title: Dark Army AD: Shaun Ellis @shmaba.bsky.social #daggerheart #darringtonpress #ttrpg

Small child in purple dress standing on rocks summoning a horde of fiends for the Daggerheart's Hope and fear expansion. Trees bow out around her and there is a cloud of dust and magic that emanates behind her and the horde.

Grief / “Spite Remembers”. Spite using his powers to summon memories and pieces of rook to remind Lucanis/confront his grief. This would be post tearstone or for a deceased rook. I #rookanis I #lucanisdellamorte I #datv I #dragonage

Rook and lucanis fanart feature pinks and yellow. This is a moment post tear stone island/ or a deceased rook Spite holds up Lucanis to remind him of his grief by summoning sculptures of rooks face, their hands intertwined and also them embracing and kissing. Debris and rocks float around.

Extremely honoured to be nominated for Best Character Artist in the Crit Awards for my illustration work on The Fourth Age! Thank you, once again, to the team that trusted me with such special characters for such a beloved production. @calltoadventure.bsky.social

Illustration of the fellowship from the Fourth Age actual play. The angle is low, looking up. The sky is dominated by a cloud lit by golden hour, and there are cherry blossom trees sending petals through the piece. From left: Iairen (elf, medium brown skin, kinky brown hair with undercut and half up style, blue robes); Chicory (hobbit-elfish, lilac dress, pale skin, brown hair in loose waves, holding a wooden staff); Theodas (bald elf, many scars, dark beard, golden interlocking armor, dull blue cape); Mistiel (elf with dark brown skin, copper cape, long white box braids half up, golden armour); Eona (human, dark brown long hair with golden scales woven through, leathers and cape, holding a sword); Aerlind (elf, dark hair, blue fine outfit, tanned skin, east asian features, holds an astrolabe in two hands).

My first book cover, sprayed edges and endpaper combo for Clare Sager's Book of Ravens, and the team at Bragelonne fr~ Btw I totes got hired because of my rookanis fanart (especially the ballroom style). I think I've gotten most of my main gigs because of Dragon Age fanart at this rate.

Some easter eggs that you may or may not find in "Book of Ronin" for Daggerheart. The narrative I tried to convey here is that kiddo has snuck into a place made of whitish stone, graffitied it, and now they’ve chosen to transform into a statue to hide. I #daggerheart I #ttrpg I #criticalrole

Rookanis Leyendecker study. After all, it is the Year of the Horse~ I finished a big deadline and thought I’d reward myself with another study ✨✨✨ I #rookanis I #lucanisdellamorte I #datv I #dragonage

Leyendecker study, but with a lucanis x rook twist. The colour palette is now purple blue and gold, the embellishments are replaced with the dragon age veilguard crow icons and motifs. There are 3 crows carrying the rose wreath now and you can find the romance flowers on the dragon age ending slide below the horses's hooves. The Cartouche reads "dellamorte"

Omgosh it's #portfolioday! I'm an AUS artist who's worked for ttrpg studios like Darrington Press, MCDM, Cosmere and a bunch of romantasy bookcrates. I also do a lot of lucanis fanart and bully my animation friends into animating my #rookanis brainrot. (a lot new work is in NDA so here's a recap!)

A humanoid fungril whispers into a horrified elven lady's ear as she lays in bed. Colour theme is red and black. Lilies and a red back spider in the foreground.

lucanis asking rook for a dance at a ball the illustration features blues purples and aqua hues with a lot of sparkles and glows. Behind them are large mosiac windows while people in crow refine attire dance around them.
