Watched 12 Angry Men today, felt like it was a big gap in my #movie watchlist and I loved it. It’s one of my favourite genres: single location. I feel those movies tend to have so much more character building dialogue hence why I enjoy them so much. Others I love:

Just remembered one of the few stories my mum told me about her childhood. She’s one of 7(!!) and whenever they’d get a fried whole chicken, her older sister (the bully) would always take the leg, she would end up with the wing and her other sister with the breast (in Korea that’d be the worst part)

I think the first two seasons had a good balance of people and it was friendlier as a whole. This one is very anti-intellectual (on the faithful side) and selfish, taking things very personally like the traitors are branded liars rather than, you know, people playing the game.

The only thing I’m enjoying about #TheTraitors this year is Dan’s eye rolls. I get clueless Joe’s confessionals every 2 min and Livi shouting everything she says while crying when anyone defends themselves. Think once her and Joe go, we may see a bit more humanity in the group, hoping, PRAYING.

Tteokguk for new years! Eaten on New Year’s Day for good fortune in Korea. It’s essentially a beef soup with rice cakes and added dumplings. After 2024, I’ll do anything for this year to be better, this soup, not washing my hair until tomorrow etc 😬
