I don't have any problem with itch, and prefer it over drivethru, but I know people get frustrated with slow payouts and various things that are mostly outgrowths of having been mostly video games first

Finally I'll mention my friend Amy Huang's Brave the Dreamer, which has players define the Dream by picking from a list of evocative words, two things it was and one thing it wasn't. Very abstract, but it suits the abstractness of a dream, and the list of words is very well-chosen to set a tone

(and much less writing on the designer's part) Luke Jordan's Grand Guignol has a really good application/evolution of the Belonging Outside Belonging system to Victorian England. The collaborative worldbuilding through refining Setting Elements feels a little more involved

I haven't played it yet, but Jason Morningstar's Durance has a pretty interesting approach, focused on scarcity and abundance which will underpin all the character motivations. Avery Alder's Dream Askew has a similar focus on scarcity and abundance, but is much more pared down as a mechanic

We need to acknowledge the ways that capitalism creates disability. Working through injury and burnout causes disabilities. Denying care for treatable illnesses because of the cost creates disability. Factories that poison vulnerable communities create disability.

Mission: Impossible (1996) still rules. I'll never get over the production design of Akvarium restaurant, the wild camera angles of that scene, and Czerny's electrifyingly menacing performance as Agent Kittridge
