pleased to inform everyone i have outlined about 90% of the rest of ouroboros vindicta. and it's looking like it's gonna be another 100k words 😭 it's so fucking dense i think this is the longest fic i have ever written

in hindsight it's kind of hilarious fortune's weave is just making everyone in three houses look like a coughing baby in terms of the wider scope of the lore/worldbuilding

people will not manage their stamina/focus correctly in silent hill f and just mindlessly mash buttons and then call f's gameplay bad people will crouch right in the monster's line of sight in townfall and then call its stealth gameplay bad at some point you need to accept it is a skill issue

going to silent hill vs raccoon city is always a funny ass question coz people will be like "well if you don't have guilt silent hill is just a normal town" and well. no

dietrich is autistic as fuuuuuuck and fabio is genderfluid with a visible disability that's never treated as a joke and they are in love and front and center as a romance and basically i love woketendo

fefw #spoilers NOBODY TOLD ME THE DIETRICH/FABIO YAOI WOULD GO THIS HARD

I'm still kind of annoyed they did dante/argosax parallels in S2 and then did nothing with it. the scene where arius is trying to recruit him and calling him the embodiment of chaos is so good and then he???? just walks away and leaves dante to get his blood sucked instead???

tkingfisher's mentions are a clown fiesta

2110

i dont wanna sound like a boomer and i am not backing this up with a source but i genuinely think tiktok is the root of all evil in modern society

2232

this has literally been my fortune's weave experience so far #fabioSWEEP

0131

I've basically just been alternating between working and playing through fortune's weave and it feels like I've had the energy to do nothing else it actually just sucks ass. I hate feeling like this

140

dietrich talking about how he's destined to become a mindless beast and then die and fabio, who was conditioned to see surface dwellers as not even human, finding the beauty in each other and recognizing their humanity together like ok bro

051

dietrich/fabio is a yaoi atomic bomb. everytime I think they can't get gayer they basically just start grinding on screen

most appropriate way to use ur crest of blaiddyd

Esmeralda holding Dietrich up with one arm using her crest of blaiddyd, and picking up Fabio by his robe haphazardly with her other hand. Dietrich has an unreadable expression as he looks down at her while Fabio is visibly annoyed. Esmeralda is winking up at Dietrich

some people genuinely think every silent hill game has to be explicitly set in the town of silent hill and I don't understand that mentality at all. the town itself is so incidental to the actual plot of these games and sticking to one setting religiously (ha) clearly affected SH for the-

1120

silent hill townfall is slappin so far

0110

fabio getting seasick and being slumped over in the back for the rest of this scene is everything to me

290

esmeralda deserves to drag fabio over hot coals I s2g man their supports have me rolling

010

paused my dietrich run to take these for no reason in particular

1121

one of the coolest visual nods to dante and vergil's relationship and WHY IS IT HERE WHY DIDN'T THEY CAPITALIZE ON THIS AT ALL WRABBIT IS A VERGIL EXPY

dante/wrabbit thoughts today. dmcn did not do nearly enough with the way wrabbit draws parallels to and sees himself in both dante and lady, but they have really become one of my favourite pairings and i adore them

1100

leda is such an amazing and messy character and I really enjoyed her route, but man I think I am clicking with dietrich's team dynamic so much more

The worst thing you can say about any piece of art is “this is boring” so anything that creates a passionate reaction will always interest me

lady with her 3 demon boyfriends

cregger resident evil is supposed to be an "adaptation of what it's like to play the games" but honestly to me it felt more like an adaptation of watching someone play the RE games badly

430

there is now a worse resident evil movie than welcome to raccoon city.
