been trying to find a decent windows MUD client in the wake of mudlet constantly enshittifying itself with claude commits and there was ONE person in r/mud who actually knows what they're talking about.

And for the heavy AI driven, you know you're going to run into issues and places where it's a problem. I'm really exhausted by investing time and effort into trying some cool new idea to just realize that someone just spent a bunch of time and credits prompting AI and then released it as "good enough, but under improvement."

Part of the problem with the "under improvement" is that eventually with a large enough codebase, coaxing AI to do what you want is like putting the bottom sheet on your bed. Get the corners on and another snaps off. Except when making the bed you can stop and curse and kick the nearest soft object, with AI it's just like "all is well champ, nothing to see here" and until you (or likely someone else) realizes that something else broke, it won't get fixed.

Anyway, all of this said, mush is the only client I'll use for Windows. Although I realize you're not on Linux, tintin++ is my linux go-to from the cli."

Dude, this is genuinely so fucking disappointing. Nearly all of the commits I’ve seen for PPSSPP involve generative AI from Claude in the past week alone, and their entire newest dev blog is almost entirely written by Claude. Almost half of the commits in the past 3 months use Claude for AI code.
