High school was more of the same but with even more distractions. I managed to barely graduate with my class, but not without some very close calls. Lo and behold it wasn’t until I was 25 that I finally got diagnosed with ADHD.

It’s amazing looking back on my experience with school and how every adult around me failed me. I spent the majority of grade school getting punished for being disruptive and not doing my work. Middle school was the start of my pattern of barely scraping by because I never remembered my homework.

I started reading The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich by William Shirer and the parallels between the US today and Germany in the 20s and 30s is scary. It's a bit out of order, and quite accelerated, but it's the same playbook.

Chet, I usually agree with you, but the bill that is being used to ban TikTok is REALLY bad. Banning it is a distraction from the extremely broad language in the bill that gives the Secretary of Commerce the power to ban any web service, foreign or domestic, for any reason with almost zero recourse.
