Considering it's basically day 1 of experimenting with Godot I'm quite happy with the progress :D Involved familiarizing myself with github setup, godot editor itself, the wiki, the asset store / plugins, getting Kenney assets, and upgrading the gesture recogniser I found from godot 3 to 4.2.7

Vertex Studio C++ GDExtension Edition is out! Vertex & normal painting meshes w/ MILLIONS of tris + all the other incredible features (variations, vertex groups, selection tools, etc). Vertex Studio was made w/ N64/PS1 graphics in mind, the C++ version now covers any kind of game. #godotengine

felt a creative surge these last couple of evenings but wanted to consciously avoid doing anything work or business related. so I drew again 🥰 experimenting with 2-color shading, lofi style inspired at first, now experimenting with other color palettes.

14 years ago I attended my 1st Gamescom - a fan, a student. This year I attended for the 2nd time - a developer, a freelancer, a studio founder. It was an overwhelming and emotional experience. I am so proud of how far I've come. Can't wait to see what the next 14 years will bring!
