Europeans are outnumbered and outranged by Russia’s long-range arsenal. The US is needing missiles for its own conflicts and for future planning. Lots of European ambition to develop deep strike capabilities but painfully slow.

Many years ago I had a Visiting Erskine Fellowship at Canterbury. It worked not least because I was welcomed and embedded in Gateway Antarctica and Geography Department activities. But in the end it was the kindness of colleagues in Christchurch and beyond in NZ that made it so memorable.

In the pre Christmas corset madness it looks like I forgot to post pics of this when I finished it. #Shetland navigation chart #screenprinting on calico fabric then painted a bit and sewn a lot. The coastline of Shetland was particularly tiresome, but worth it in the end!
