I thought I’d try iOS 27’s alleged ability to search for email based on intent and natural language, not just keywords. It did not find my booking confirmation for next Sunday.

Lede: In August I attended a meeting of campaigners and councillors in the east London borough of Tower Hamlets, where the government has recently approved plans for a 5,200 sq mile datacentre on the site of an old brewery off Brick Lane. The meeting, held on a sunny Monday evening, went on for three hours, in a stifling hall so packed that organisers had to create an overflow room. It’s a testament to how divisive the subject has become.

Saw some benches near work last week, loved the concept, decided to mek and import so people can have actual art in their cities. Grabbed 20 public domain/CC items each from the Rijksmuseum, Guggenheim, NGV, Tate Modern, and Tokyo National Museum to build out the collections #CitiesSkylines

One more I’m hoping to get published today before I go on holiday tomorrow: Willen House, a former key manufacturer HQ on Bath St EC1V that’s in the process of being converted into student accommodation Then, I think it’s time for a break to work on my Steam backlog rather than my asset backlog.

The flagshagging livery aside, the worst thing about this is that they insist on putting "GBR" everywhere the rail symbol is used - meaning you get this weird, off-balanced application in a position that naturally lends itself to a large, central placement that perfectly suits a network's logo.

Joined together a few different systems in the editor to recreate “The Restless Course” helpfully catalogued by @ianvisits.co.uk here: www.ianvisits.co.uk/articles/lon... A few tweaks to make (brightness, fix some clipping), and the pulsing effects are smoother in-game, but very happy with this 💃🏼
