On top of the ~£900m of disguised sponsorship deals, Manchester City's owner loaned them over £1bn which was converted into shares in 2013. Effectively this was a gift to the club as those loans were not paid back to the owner from the club. Mansour has really distanced himself from all of this.

There is no reason to believe that all of this stopped in 2018 either. Just that is when the leaks and the initial investigation for these charges started and you have to have an end date at some point to start chagrining.
