Sometimes I make a thing I call “cheese toast” where I make toast and then throw some pre-sliced cheese on it while it’s still hot. I never put the cheese in the toaster oven, because I don’t want it melted, just slightly warm.

I know you hate this advice. I know you hear it all the time, but for gods sake you need to be calling your congressperson. Now. Today. If you have a GOP representative, you need to call and ask if they approve of stripping congress of its constitutional authority. If they like being powerless.

Community self defense, tenant organizing, mutual aid, mask blocs, cop watching, start/join a jail support project, organize/participate in political education, + more is needed. Look out for one another. Just don't get wrapped up in the liberal outrage & despair machine. Not sure where to start?👇

Updating the visual design of my modestly-colored third musketeer #Tetra #Phoenix

A screenshot of an unfinished reference sheet of Phoenix. The design's color scheme relies heavily on a harsh red-green color contrast.

OKAY. Here is how to actually turn off Gemini AI for your google workspace! 1) contact google support from admin panel and keep asking for a supervisor/to speak to a person. 2) ask them to enable settings in "Gemini for google workspace" 3) turn it off. I just did this and it worked.

Girl with Dragon. OC's from a comic idea I had kicking around.

Girl with pink hair squats on one knee with a small green dragon on her shoulder. The girl and the dragon are looking at each other. She's wearing a pink corset with pink ribbon straps over a mesh turtleneck, a pleated micro mini skirt and calf height black boots. There is bright lighting and a blue background.

Finished version of a sketch from like a year ago. This was done as another lighting experiment, trying to figure how to paint golden hour. And warlock armor. #art #destiny2

A woman stands half in light and half in shadow. Her hand is outstretched and a ghost (from destiny) hovers above it. She's wearing a coat with a high color and shoulder pauldrons as well as a belt with pouches.

Keep meaning to post this! I drew this a few months back as an experiment. Don't ask what era her dress is from because I super duper made it up. #art

Okay, so I'm going to post a thread now about using Clip Studio Paint, about color settings, ICC color profiles, outputting to CMYK, getting 100% K in your blacks, etc. Technical shit. If you're struggling with this, read the thread. I'll reply to myself here, and it'll take a little time... 1/many

My only goal on life these days is to disgustingly cling to the strong sense of wonder I have. Hell yeah I'm gonna cry when I see an animal footprint, hear bugs chirping, or when I get that perfect ray of sunlight that warms me up on a chilly morning. If I do that? I feel like I've made it.

For artists new here or anyone who doesn't know yet: You can add tags to your bio that let people see all your posts using this tag. It works like a media tab but better since you can choose what you want to show! Just add the tag and choose the second option when you click on it.

I came across an outdated guide on image grid sizing crop/proportions for bsky earlier, and I felt it was important to create an updated version! Please use this new guide instead!

Up-to-date BlueSky Crop Aspect Ratio
Crop Sizes for Bluesky as of 18 Oct 2024

By default, single images are uncropped. If image is too tall (Exceeds the 1:2 aspect ratio) then it will be cropped. Single images that are too tall may be scaled down but aspect ratio is preserved

With two images, both of them share a square aspect ratio of 1:1

For three images, the first image is square (1:1) while the other two are half-squares (2:1)

And for 4 images, all of them are 3:2
