It feels weird knowing I only know how to be an adult (cooking, cleaning, mending, basic household maintenance) because I had weird special interests. I was 15 knowing this stuff, most of my friends wouldn't figure it out till after highschool. Why don't we prepare teenagers for adulthood anymore?

We really should bring Home Ec classes back for all students, not just as an optional elective. I just taught myself how to use a sewing machine today, at almost 21 years old. My mom was baffled because she learned how to use one in Home Ec in middleschool.

You know, when there is any sort of shortage on essential medications, the pharmacies should probably let those with those prescriptions know. I'm sure there could be a robocall for that. Honestly, more people should try keeping a journal. Last month I finally decided to start keeping one again and it really does change things. For one I just feel calmer and more at home in my own mind, and it helps me sort through complicated thoughts and feelings without social media interfering.
