I do think one of the key distinctions you see regarding the response and reaction to 10/7 is from people who see it as a sharp discontinuity from a peaceful status quo and people who see it as simply another step in the continuation of the ongoing cycle of atrocities dating back decades.

At least countries without written Constitutions are open about it being vibes based. Canada has a hodgepodge of documents, including from before Canada existed, while mixing in some precedent and vibes. Not that the American approach of "deny there are vibes at all" is any better. But still.
