I tried Dragon Quest Builders 2 today, and honestly, I don't think I'm a fan. I'm still in a tutorial phase, and it just feels like it's holding my hand too much to be an enjoyable sandbox experience. I love the idea of adding a story line to a Minecraft-like game, but (so far) it's sooo superficial

I don't understand the hate for game journalists. Yes, the outlets are shitty and don't care about journalism if it hurts their income. In the 80s, my dad was named in the headline of our local newspaper. He was so proud of it, that it hung up (and is still up) in my childhood homes. The problem is that the headline was about how he fatally hit an elderly couple with a train 😭 (more specifically a ballast tamper).
