My favorite thing about living in a not-quite-gentrified neighborhood is that I can leave anything on the curb and it will disappear. And not just small things! Carried down a scratched coffee table that wasn’t moving on fb marketplace and it vanished by the time I got back from lunch.

I know NYC was all in on the knicks this year but opening SNL season 52 with a sports host was a bold choice. Seasons should always open and close with a bonafide banger of a host and that is rarely someone whose biggest skills are on the court/field.

Currently reading “Apples Never Fall” by Liane Moriarty, which I was only familiar with via a very American TV adaptation I didn’t watch and it turns out the story in the novel takes place in Australia and so does “Big Little Lies.” Now all I can think about is this scream in an Aussie accent.
