In Chicago, they suggest holding off on bathing and showers, too. When stormwater gets too overwhelming, they wind up opening a nearby lock and send the wastewater into Lake Michigan. 🤢 But lots of it winds up in basements before it gets to that point.

Covid is not a respiratory condition but a systemic inflammatory condition with respiratory features. Good evidence of subclinical damage to liver, kidneys, heart, vasculature in recovered patients, and evidence of changes in types of acute MI/heart attack seen. Could be big problems down the line.

Hi! Covid does not last five days! This is another incredible mishmash of bad information the government has made as murky as possible! I keep having friends and family be shocked they’re still positive and very symptomatic 7-10 days in. You’ve got it til you don’t, isolate and mask til then!

Yes! People test once. Once! And then proclaim no Covid. My family thinks I'm obsessive for testing for at least two days. A friend recently felt crummy. Did not test positive until day 4. (But then said 2 days later she could go out and do whatever per CDC guidelines.)

a state throwing a major presidential candidate off the ballot because of their interpretation of the 14th Amendment is kind of a constitutional crisis, but it is already a legitimacy crisis when a major party renominates a candidate who tried a coup. might as well make it explicit.
