I KNOW i was so baffled when the teacher told me that my brother was writing at a "college-reading level" and he brought up that word as the example. like... WHAT !!!

the big word in question that one of his teachers pointed out using being "too smart" was "subsequently," wish i was joking.

mind you my brother also really loathes all the AI chatbots and stuff, so his teachers having to call to make sure he wasn't using those is really baffling. 😭 i feel so bad for him. neurodivergent students are really having a rough time right now.
