Someone sponsored beautiful memorials for Eliana, George, and the three other men killed in the dual accidents last week. My family and I stopped by with flowers to pay our respects.
Portraits of Edy Gutiérrez Mejia, Eliana Moreno, and George Marciniw, wreathed in white roses, hang on a fence near where news reporter Eliana and pilot George’s helicopter went down. Bouquets and candles cover the sidewalk below. Portraits of Daniel Castillo and Gage Weida, wreathed in white roses and decorated with tokens and notes, hang from the stoplight pole on the corner of the intersection where a car struck a bus. The United States practices "one man, one vote", but some votes are worth more than others. That is fundamentally a rigged playing field that needs to be rectified in Reconstruction 3.0. No more special treatment for rural white MAGA people who depend on urban liberal handouts
