The FAQ seems like it hasn't been updated yet, but the fact that other ID methods like passport are available has me excited! I need to get better at understanding Japanese because I doubt much/any of the signage inside is translated

That's my biggest worry too, that the show won't be a complete story and you'll have to play the game to get it all. The game takes place ~100 years after though so hopefully that won't be the case 🤞🏼

I still recommend visiting Shizuoka tho! Shizuoka Hobby Square is great, as well as these runner monuments all over the city! The Surugaya Main store is great for second hand model kits, and for cheaper than they usually are in Tokyo (at least that was the case for the main kit I was looking for)

If you do plan to, 1. Begin your visit with this, and be ready for quite a walk (I feel like the scale of the map was a tad misleading 😅) 2. Start at Odaiba-Kaihinkoen station and work CCW to end at the Annex, you'll get a ticket for the lottery that has to be scanned at the 7th floor Gundam base

And that's that! Thanks to @gundampixel.bsky.social 's kid for the wonderful inspiration. I wanted to kinda emulate the "messy" style of a child's coloring page, and I think hand painting really let me do that (and it makes me feel less bad about any mistakes I made or paint chipping later 😂)

I didn't realize the (formerly P-Bandai exclusive) Sandrock Custom can't store the swords under the shield like the original Sandrock. So I took out the hard points from the backpack and attached them under the shield. I was going to try and make them poseable, but I ended up just gluing them down.

When I started, it was initially meant to be a quick snap build. But as I went along, I thought "I can remove the seam here", "well if I do that, I can do it here too", "I'll have to do some customizing to remove this one, but that's not too hard", and now we're here 😅

This was my first time hand painting a kit (aside from the primer/top coats). I used Ray Studio's acrylic paints, which I've used before, including for some Gundam Assemble minis! (Which can be seen on my Instagram instagram.com/sho.gunpla) I used Dspiae metallic markers for joints and other places.
