Both the government and the Court of Appeal now treat protesters as terrorists and terrorists as protesters. It's hard to accept that a "Labour" government is imposing rightwing authoritarianism on the UK, but please read this column to see what's happening.+🧵 www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

The right is obsessed with ‘two-tier policing’. This is indeed a two-tier government – but the real victims are progressives, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

As a member, I didn't vote for you as Labour leader, Sir Keir. But never thought you'd abandon traditional Labour values so quickly. And replace them with no vision. No ambition. And some lukewarm Reform ideas. That's not for me. That's why I joined @greenparty.org.uk👍 www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

I am very sad that local press are printing such openly Islamophobic material. St George was actually from Turkey/Palestine and is the patron saint of many Christian and Muslim nations. St George’s day should be a call for unity, not division.

“Nigel Farage is wrong in principle, his approach is racist, and we oppose it” “Nigel Farage is right on immigration, but he doesn’t have the skill or experience to deliver his plans” At some point, the government has to pick *one* of these narratives, instead of veering wildly between the two.
