I pay $160 for general faculty space parking that overflows by the time 9 o’clock hits every day and on Monday, Wednesday Fridays my first class doesn’t start till 12. A guaranteed specific parking spot in the pavilion is more than $600 a semester.

Covid update: I am functional today and not bedridden. I slept around 13 hours yesterday once I got home. My body no longer has the painful joint aches, nor do I have a fever, and the shakes are gone. Fingers crossed I’m good to return to work Monday.
