I got a comment on a fanfic I wrote, it was long and highlighted all the major plot points of my story. But here's the problem. The story was less than 400 words. The major plot points were the whole story.

I found a secret hack to get through using LinkedIn. I used to work for a grocery store so a lot of my contacts are in the grocery business. I started following the CEO of a baked goods company. I just comment on how good all the cakes and cookies look to boost up my engagement. 👍

I used to be an admin for self checkout. A lot of companies know these tricks and have added updates to combat them. We used to go to trade shows and try to outsmart the terminals. I'm sure with AI they're getting better at it though.

Is there a word for, in movies, books, etc, where it's not necessarily a Dues Ex Machina, but the characters are a little too quick to figure it out, or guess the right answer or the right hypothesis, just to move the plot along? I feel like that should have a word.

For the past week and a half I felt like my mouse was double clicking. It was driving me bananas. I tested my mouse on another computer and it worked, it was just a problem in my main computer. Finally I had enough and uninstalled my mouse drivers and rebooted and now it works fine! 🤷‍♀️
