BBC Archive has finally uploaded something with the terrifying shadowy figure behind the BBC glass top table chess board. youtu.be/UUAJfB6tGgc?... This really used to unnerve me as a child.

Somebody from Slough SL1 (Good afternoon 68.183.36.111) is desperate to hack my blog; numerous attempts and lockouts all from the same IP address.

I was wondering, have you heard Anton Webern's 'Kinderstück' (1924) - it's atonal music for children. It's so unnerving it could come out one of your Quentin Smirhes videos, but it's absolutely real.

When I had hair, it was cut by Mark who I went to school with, or his Dad Mike who went to school with my Dad. And you are right; I never told either of them how I wanted it cut.

Drawing 60s Christmas stuff in #inkscape...
A square design from 1966. It says BBC1 PROGRAMMES THIS CHRISTMAS, with a snowflake under the word Christmas. The words programmes and Christmas are in a 60s psychedelic font. The word THIS is in Eurostile and the BBC1 is the BBC1 logo from 1966.

If I don't get my Christmas decorations made now, I never will. Thanks to a lovely off-screen picture from @transdiffusion.org , here's how it's going so far. This being 60 years ago is truly terrifying. #blender3D
3D model of the BBC1 Christmas Symbol from 1966. There are two rows of snowflakes at the top and bottom of the screen. There is as caption at the bottom of the screen saying "Christmas BBC1". There is an orange and lemon coloured horizontal bars across the centre of the screen. In the middle of the bars a circle is cut out, through which you can see a lit candle against a purple glittery background.

1968 In Colour

Video editing using Kdenlive is something I haven't done in a while. I really think Test Card D looks good in widescreen - it seems so much less cluttered. I'm still heavily into 1968 so I don't know if I should be listening to the White Album or The Hangman's Beautiful Daughter.

A quick blog post about recreating the BBC1's 1972 Apollo 17 symbol. www.kecskebak.hu?p=610
A screenshot of Blender, showing a model that is a recreation of the 1972 BBC1 Apollo 17 symbol. The symbol consists of a black box, which has the white legend BBC1 COLOUR on the front of it. There is a cutout of the front two thirds of the box, allowing you to see inside. Inside the box there is a white ring, behind which is a black ellipse with the Apollo 17 logo, a blank black ellipse and a white disc right at the back.

I love all the Ultimate games, and your conversions are always have the same flair for polish as ACG had. I always thought that TransAm would be an interesting early Ultimate game to convert for the Electron as it has 8-way scrolling and I imagine that would be a bit of a challenge to do.
